Spaceman was a superhero and member of Glory on Earth-Alpha, who claimed to be from the 41st Century. Little is known of him on a personal level, but his powers are adequately described; we see that he demonstrated tremendous strength and speed, and could fly, as well as being able to generate “cosmic energy” pulses from his eyes. It is suggested that his powers are derived from absorbing cosmic radiation, as he claims a lack of such radiation weakens him. During his surveillance of Glory, Edward Tamaron discovered that Spaceman (whom Tamaron believed to be a lunatic) had at least one named foe, called Burzonics. Who or what Burzonics is or was remains a mystery.
Trivia
Spaceman is clearly based on Superman, possessing the famous DC Comics superhero's powers. However, there are key differences; namely that whereas Superman is from the planet Krypton, Spaceman is from the future, and while Superman is powered by yellow sun radiation, Spaceman seems to derive his abilities from cosmic radiation.
